Video showing the visualization of large-scale, n-body cosmological simulations of Dark Matter Particle and Halo data from the Dark Sky Simulation project (http://darksky.slac.standford.edu/). These halos evolve over time, and are organized in merger trees; the tree indicate the parentage of a halo at a given timestep.
This work is displaed in real-time using the CAVE2(TM) Hybrid Reality Environment at the Electronic Visualization Laboratory, University of Illinois at Chicago.
