Recently been playing Cave Story and I have to admit its one of my top favourites. It's got an addicting soundtrack that I can't stop listening to. I've already got a remix going for one of its songs and tons of sheet music to learn. Also there was a bit of the original song with this weird chiptune "solo" that wasn't really to my liking so I didn't bother with that part. Hopefully I can get more content out as the summer rolls along and I wrap up my final year of high school!

The motivation returns this summer!
Now that my schools finally been kicked in its teeth with a strike, I finally have the time I want to sit down and learn FL Studio 11. So this is what Ive been working on for the past, like, 2.5 weeks. Reason I took so long because FL Studio is still pretty foreign to me and Ive changed what Ive done so much because at the rate I was learning, I wasnt satisfied with what I had done previously. Same goes for the finished project. I really hope I get better...
I named after the Hubble telescope, because astronomy, being the one thing I adore the most (besides music), really represents that feeling of discovery and the glory of finding something new. For me it was discovering my love of entertaining people with music, and how the fuck FL does shit.
I started off with DnB as the first genre to work on, and I gotta apologize with my past, electronic songs, because I really had no idea what I was doing with them. I didnt know the rules of a generic electronic or techno song. Now that Ive got a better idea I think I have the right to call this drum and bass :P.
Working on dance music is fun and all, but Ive always been inspired to make video gamey music and its what Ive listened to a good chunk of my life, and Ive only really gotten into dance music in the last year or so.
I also used some of the things I learned from my IT class in After Effects to make some music visualization effects with some starry-like particles to make it more interesting than a still picture.
Sorry for such a long, fucking description, after all its just a song, Im just really happy to get back on track :). (LOL GET IT?)
