Gaspar Prim Díaz, better known online as Gaspi, became one of the most recognisable and controversial YouTubers in Argentina. Known for his bizarre street interviews, dark humour, viral public interactions, and unmistakable Buenass greeting, Gaspi built an audience of millions despite having only a small number of videos available on his channel. His rise from an unknown teenager in Buenos Aires to one of Latin Americas most talked-about internet personalities was unlike anything the platform had seen before.
In this documentary, we explore the complete story of Gaspi: his childhood in Argentina and Chile, his early football ambitions, the creation of the Gaspi character, his explosive rise on YouTube, and the controversies that repeatedly saw his videos removed from major platforms. We also examine the mental health struggles he later revealed, his two-year disappearance from social media, and the emotional return that showed a very different side of the creator behind the character.
The video follows Gaspis participation in La Velada del Año, his dramatic physical transformation, his highly publicised boxing match against Perxitaa, and his attempts to reinvent himself through documentary filmmaking, vlogging, and new creative projects.
