When I first saw ex-LNER class A3, 60103 'Flying Scotsman', it was by complete coincidence, when she visited Locomotion in 2019. When I next wanted to film her at Carlisle in 2023, she failed right before her special was due. When I wanted to film her on the Strathspey Railway the same year, she had a low-speed collision!
But, caught finally at the Severn Valley Railway's Swinging 60s event, I now have had the pleasure of visiting the SVR for the first time, and gathering more footage of the most famous steam locomotive in the world!
