What started as a Sinita video became a political drama, because I can’t ever do anything simple lol.
So I never upload unfinished projects, I hate it actually. But I think, this year, I have to cut my losses. I have to admit that there’s been projects sitting in my files for years and they’re just not going to be finished no matter how much I convince myself otherwise. So this summer, I’m going to go over all unfinished projects and upload them to this channel because I think it’s going to lift a huge weight off me. I can’t keep holding onto something that will never see completion. And I’d rather focus my time on projects that I definitely know I want to finish. But I also don't want them to go to waste, because I do think there was a lot of potential with these videos.
And we start with this one, which has been around since the beginning of 2020. Yeah you can see why this had to go first XD. Truly a project where everything about the blocking looks so good, but it’s WAY too ambitious. This is a RP round to an extent and I think I’m just way too burnt out for that shit XD. A lot of background edits need to be done, there needs to be a lot of group shots, and there’s a section in this video that I still had no idea what to do with. Every time I look at this video, I am both insanely proud and also extremely stressed out. So hence why I don’t think I’m ever going to finish it.
BUT I really do love the overall feel of this video. All of the elements really come together, I feel. I do wish this had been a more of Sinbad x Nita story, but it turned into a Sinbad story at the end of the day. The story of a prince who has to choose if his loyalties lie with his family or the love of his life. An interesting concept and execution for sure! But you win some, you lose some, ya know? Anyways, enjoy!
STORY NOTES (in case the blocking was confusing):
-Proteus and Sinbad are brothers of royalty, Proteus being first in line for the throne.
-The meeting between all the lords, nobles, kings, queens, and ambassadors was never supposed to happen. It was just supposed to be a gathering to discuss some trade negotiations. But then Shang don goth murdered.
-Sinbad and Nita have been in a long distance relationship for about a year.
-Nita is against war due how many innocent people lose their life or get wrongly imprisoned. Being from a less economically developed country, she doesn’t want that for her people.
-Proteus killed Shang as a way to give an excuse for war to happen, as war brings them a lot of profits and money that he feels they need in order to stay stable.
-It’s made intentionally unclear if Dymas knew about Proteus’s plan or not, or was apart of it. This is more for the audience’s interpretation.

IM BRINGING BACK THE OTP MOTHERFUCKERS WOOOOOOO!!!!!
I actually came to ASTONISHING realization the other day that, despite these two being in my top 5 OTPs, I’ve never?? Made a video for them??? Shit, I didn’t even get the chance to show them in my rounds! Shaaammmmeeeee.
But I found the perfect opportunity to bring them back again when Johanna (PrincessStarlight) reopened some parts for her supernatural creature x human romance MEP. I’m really glad I did because editing them again was so much fun!
This is a pretty big throwback so for those who either don’t know or need a reminder, Devon (Tulio) was my character from the roleplay Blood Moon Rising (now rebooted as Crimson Moon) and he was in romance with Jo’s (2009JoRose) character Penny (Ariel). In the CM canon, Devon and Penny both became werewolves via pack alpha Julian (Aladdin; played by Liv/WolfSpirit79) in an attempt to save their lives, and they bond over their newfound struggle and that connection that no one else is able to relate to. It was one of my favorite parts about the RP and even though I have since left the project, it doesn’t mean I’m done making vids about all of the good parts that came out of it! And this was most certainly one of them!
The story is kinda like an AU! Where these two were lovers long before Devon became a wolf, and that instead of Julian saving his life by turning him, it was Penny. I imagine Clayton killed him because he was threatening him to find out where the “wolves” were, and when Devon didn’t comply….welp let’s just say Devon has a really bad habit of getting shot. (You guys think I’m joking, but Devon gets injured A LOT throughout the canon story and almost dies like 3 fucking times, this is completely in character XD). Enjoy!")

Devon continues to be my resident damsel in distress (what is this, the fourth time I’ve edited him dying and needing to be saved by supernatural forces?)
MAN THIS PART IS SO LATE. To preserve my image I dare not say exactly how late, but woof this should’ve been done a while ago. But it’s spooky month, it’s werewolf month, so damnit if I’m gonna get it done I might as well get it done during October!
Annyywaayyysss. So this is for Selene’s Running With the Wolves werewolf MEP. At first, I had no idea what I was gonna do for this part, other than I wanted to focus on Devon and Delaney (it’s honestly been years since I’ve edited Delaney too lol). But around the time I had gotten the part, I had also created a new AU for these guys and I thought hey! Why not edit it! Also I know I’ve used Steele to represent Devon, and yeah in the main storyline and in other AUs that is still his wolf face claim. But for this part, Ame’s wolf form worked better for what I wanted. Something more calm and mysterious, and overall less expressive. And yeah, I think that’s it? Enjoy!
STORY/AU:
Finding himself slowly bleeding out at a mysterious werewolf temple, Devon’s blood ends up awakening Fennec, the wolf god of protection and balance. Transported into the spirit world, Fennec offers Devon a deal: in exchange for his life, he will be her avatar. Impulsively, and under the illusion this is a hallucination that he’s experiencing as a side effect of his brain shutting down (even dying he’s still in denial), he agrees and wakes up with a new form. Some time later, Delaney comes across him in his wolf form and she realizes who it might be, everything now making sense to her.")

If sci-fi has taught us anything, it’s that you 100% can fall in love with a computer. Who needs a sexy ass body when you can have fun conversations with a voice inside of a machine? This is the shit I’m here for.
Anyways. This…was supposed to be done forever ago XD. I kept pushing it back though for a multitude of reasons. College, ROTM, binge watching, ya know mostly legit reasons. I was even gonna make this CGI at one point but frankly it didn’t feel as challenging or as satisfying in the long run. BUT I’m pretty happy with this overall! It was also nice to work with this concept because I’ve always found the idea of human and an AI with sentience and emotions finding feelings for each other quite fascinating! (You can even make the argument that it’s also an asexual romance and I am totally on board with that) Enjoy!
STORY:
A captain of a ship (Pocahontas) is introduced to said ship’s sentient AI system (Mei). The AI is normally very weary of humans as they treat her as an object, but the captain is very open with her and treats her as if she was another member of her crew. This makes the two of them form a special, and romantic, bond with each other, that gets stronger as they go on their space adventures.")
