Caught in the Current | 36x36 Acrylic Pour
In this video, I create Caught in the Current, a 36” x 36” fluid acrylic pour inspired by the movement of ocean currents, tidal channels, and the hidden energy beneath the surface. Layers of deep blues, soft whites, and shimmering emerald greens flow together to create a piece that feels both powerful and serene.
As the paint moved across the canvas, it began to resemble winding waterways and coastal estuaries—exactly the kind of natural beauty that inspires much of my work. This painting is more than a finished artwork; it will serve as the foundation for a new mixed-media piece featuring sculpted oysters that will be added later for an upcoming show.
Join me as I embrace the unpredictable nature of fluid art and watch this ocean-inspired composition come to life. This is just the beginning of its journey!
✨ Canvas Size: 36” x 36”
🎨 Medium: Acrylic Pour Painting
🦪 Future Addition: Hand-sculpted oyster elements
🌊 Inspired by coastal waters, currents, and the beauty of the sea
