Caught a Lingcod while out fishing in the waters of Georgia Strait with a good friend of mine. We caught a couple of Lingcod. This one was the smaller of the two, but it was strange cause it had a green tinge to it's face and belly. Is this from radiation?!?! it had this radioactive bluish green colour! Did it swim across the Pacific from the waters from the Fukushima Nuclear plant in Japan???! Lol, probably not, but it was cool to see.
Lingcod are awesome tasting fish, and they are great for fish and chips. I personally think they taste better than Halibut. Plus, these Lingcod look so cool - like some kind of prehistoric Monster fish lol. I'll post a photo of a close up of its face later on.
