Why my heart is so broken, rejecting your love
don't mind me, just trying to learn Premiere pro. I needed something short and easily put together in my mind to be able to learn the baby steps in the program since this is my very first attempt at editing in it, like ever. and lemme tell you, it's sweat and blood and suffering, and at the end of the day very very rewarding. but yeah forgive the messy effects and all.
I have a lot of thoughts and feelings about this show which surprised me the most given that it's a kid's cartoon. stuff like abandonment issues and domestic emotional abuse are core issues, like???? hello, thank you?? also the art style is very pretty
then again I'm kinda bitter how easily Adora basically gave up on Catra and thus she became the main villain of the season's end... my only hope is that they are planning something bigger with her/them in s2.. a girl can only hope

K, I have to mention one thing though. The actors. I mean, look at their faces!! Jennifer and Ginnifer during the reunion, Josh when Charmings girls disappear, Lana, Robert, Emily.... EVERYONE! I just love this cast, I really do.

So first of all, this vid might seem a bit.. odd. Ive had bad days and this is how I get through things like that - vidding. I chose this song because it gives the meaning of the vid a sort of grotesque or converse feeling.
This videos main concept is the oh f*ck it, have everything line. Its like saying, you know what, you took EVERYTHING from me, but sure, have the dagger, have the power, have it all! And even when she does give the dagger to Cora, she kills Johanna - because she can. Just because of that. And thats what makes me sick.
So Im just gonna say this, because its been bothering me for a while now. Snow is NOT selfish! People keep saying that she is and I really dont get why. Shed lost EVERYTHING, her mother, her father, her kingdom, her husband, her daughter and HER OWN SELF for almost 30 years. Yeah, sure, now shes got part of her family back, but that doesnt make those things undone. That doesnt give her back the years theyd spent separated with Emma. She HAS a right to be mad at Cora - shes the reason why all those things happnened to her.

This one was tough. I loved the theme of the round, but it took me a long while to find a song that inspired me for this topic. I had the basic idea of the vid pretty early on, but without music it was hard to edit anything. Anyway, I like how it turned out in the end! It might be a bit confusing but hopefully after a rewatch or two the whole thing will make sense.

Yes. Another Frozen vid. I find too much fun (and pain and feeels) in making videos about this movie, and especially these sisters. I loved making this vid because it has both happy and sad parts, so whenever I felt too overwhelmed by one, I just went and edited some more on the other parts ;)
DVD version.... I cant believe I have the DVD quality version of Frozen. Someone pinch me.... YAY

First of all, I wanted to wait till the DVD version comes out to make vids about this movie, but I just couldnt. I had too many ideas, and Im already working on another video (tho I might actually wait for the dvd version with that...)
Okay, in a nutshell, I LOVED this film! Not only because its a Disney movie or a musical, (which would have made me love it anyway), but because its about family. The story of these two sisters is just so moving and sad and sweet at the same time that I immediately loved it. I thought that Kristoff would be Annas true love (in a romantic way, he is, but I mean the act of true love), but then Anna sacrificed herself for Elsa, she put her sister before herself standing in front of Hans and protecting Elsa, not running away to kissing Kristoff and save her own life. I had to rewatch the end a few times to fully understand everything, and it just left me mind blown. Disney? Well done!
I adored Olaf and Sven too, they were comic relief, but believable and well timed and every funny line hit the target for me!
I liked how Hans storyline ended and that Disney didnt give us another typical love story. Anna and Kristoffs romance was one more thing I loved, it made me think of Han and Leia from Star Wars. Like their relationship, the princess and the ice-mans love was born in front of our eyes, not just handed to us, like here. theyre in love. A+ Disney. Again.
Also, the music!!! Ive been listening to it for a while now and I love every single song! Even the outtakes, especially Lifes Too Short (not only this one, this is the reprise). I understand why they put For The First Time in Forever (Reprise) into the movie instead of that, it creates a whole different atmosphere, but I still love the song and enjoy listening to it. Its a great masterpiece. And Let It Go.... Oh yes, that song. I dont think I have to emphasize how much I love the OST.
AND I could write a novel about how much I adore Kristen Bells voice, but lets just say that Disney made another great decision by casting that lady. Both ladies, Idina Menzel did and brilliant job too! And Olafs voice....Josh Gad, chapeau-

SO. I dont know what anyone thinks, but I LOVED this movie!
I personally dont really like Kristens acting but in this she did a brilliant job (I even liked her accent ;))! She really became a badass Snow White :D
Chris was amazing as well. The only thing I thought was a little odd is that he was more like a lumberman than a hunter. (Graham looked like a hunter. To me.) No offense. I loved his acting! Just sayin...
And I guess Ive found my new OTP because I just loved that twist at the end!! I dont wanna spoil anything but.... Snow/Huntsman vids ahead everyone! xD
