20 CATL plants worldwide are certified carbon neutral under ISO 14068-1 and run on 100% zero-carbon electricity, with cumulative emissions reductions exceeding 10 million tonnes of CO2 equivalent.
With over 80% of a battery’s lifecycle emissions coming from the supply chain, CATL was the first to set a target of value chain carbon neutrality by 2035. Together with partners across the value chain, we’re advancing zero-carbon standards across the industry.
