Greg Trial and Jim Finke started Missouri Coast Fisheries to catch invasive carp and sell products derived from the fish. Now, they have an agreement with the Missouri Department of Conservation to fish for carp commercially in the Platte River. As part of their agreement, Missouri Coast Fisheries is also testing a new net that takes advantage of the way silver carp leap from the water.
