On today's adventure, we're gonna be taking a look at a GIANT bald faced hornets nest, and attempting to capture one of these ferocious little flying creatures! Bald faced hornets don't really like to be messed with, and when there are hundreds, can be menacing!

Bald faced hornets are a native species of paper wasp found throughout North America. They are known for building giant paper nests, housing hundreds of wasps, which they abandon in the fall months. These wasps are fairly aggressive when defending their nest, known to attack predators that come anywhere within 50 feet of the nest, and will sometimes chase them hundreds of yards afterwards! These wasps, while possessing a fairly average sting, can be dangerous in a hoard, so if you ever see one of these giant nests, do your best to avoid them if you can, and they should avoid you too!
