Discover how to understand the information provided by the Indoor Air Quality Monitor of the Cat® S61 smartphone.
Find out more about the Cat S61 smartphone at catphones.com/en_gb/cat-s61-smartphone.html
Step-by-step guide to use and understand the the Air app on the Cat S61:
- On the home-page you will see the current ‘parts per billion’ value in the centre. The colour of this circle will depend on the current air quality. Around the outside of the circle is a 24-hour view showing air quality throughout the day.
- On the top left is the current air temperature and the top right is the current humidity which is useful to indicate when a freshly plastered wall is dry and ready to paint.
- Swipe right and you will see a live view with a graph of VOC levels. Tap the graph to cycle through a number of different time scales, with the time period shown in the bottom right corner.
- Swipe right again and you will see a full week of historical data. This view is useful for spotting patterns in your day so you can take steps to avoid consistent periods of exposure to poor quality air.
- If you have the alerts switched on - which can be activated within the settings menu - the Air app will notify you if you are in an area of POOR or UNHEALTHY air quality.
- If you tap the 'i' icon, you'll see a screen, which gives you information about levels of VOCs with corresponding advice for each level.
