This is a quick tour of Castlewood Canyon State Park in Franktown Colorado. Castlewood Canyon State Park is a large park that includes a former reservoir, and a dam that broke in the 1930s. There’s a lot of history here, and it’s also a great place to go for a hike and see a lot of the local Colorado natural wonders. There’s even a bike path that goes all the way from Denver, Colorado 42 miles to Castlewood Canyon State Park, where you can see the remains of the Castlewood damn, which broke in the 1930s.
