PB/WR as of 11/19/2018. Finally got sub-18! This is not a great run, but my only personal goal for this version was to finish in under 18 minutes, so I am done with it for the foreseeable future.
This is the PS4 version of SotN, playable on Castlevania Requiem: Symphony of the Night & Rondo of Blood. It is identical to the PAL PSP version in physics, glitches, and mechanics. The route is very different from the standard any% route seen in the PS1/PSN and XBLA versions of the game, with the most significant differences being that there is no gem duplication glitch (shop glitch) or reverse shift line (RSL).
There are a handful of glitches unique to the version, including backdashing out of Death's room to skip the cutscene and using save points to open a shift line. These differences make for a unique route that is not seen in any other version of the game. -- Watch live at twitch.tv/romscout
