This is part 1 of my speed run tutorial of Castlevania: SotN. I have recorded this for people who are interested in learning how to speed run the game as well as people who simply want to know more about what I'm doing when I do the runs. I spend over 15 minutes going over the first 30 seconds of the run. Don't expect the rest of the tutorial to be of this proportion time-wise, but please anticipate this level of detail for everything in the run.
