Well, as I feared, the absolute worst parts of the game were indeed saved for the tail end of the game. And they absolutely ARE frustrating. Coupled with the game's underlying flaws, they were definitely a drag. Yet... I still didn't fully feel the vitriol I once had for this game. Maybe I'm just better at the game now. Maybe I'm more chill in general. Who knows? Either way, it certainly doesn't ruin Castlemania's opening and I'm pleased. Mostly.
