Oh look, more guitars, and in Synthwave too! Yeah it was fun to do synthwave again thanks so much to HBG for commissioning this from me! I gotta say it's probably one of my best Synthwave remixes so far. Well... I dunno press garden was my fav. Either way, I've never touched a castlevania game before but it looks to be right up my alley since I'm a fan of side scrolling games and this one has a really cool dark theme to it that has been loved by many generations. Can anyone recommend a game for me to try out from the series? I've been looking to get into it.

This was one of the handful of tracks that really really stood out to me in the game while I was playing through the first Prime. I loved the spin it had on the original so I decided to do something with this version of the song! At first I didnt really have much of a direction on it, I kinda went for a bit of a progressive house feel but it ended up turning into something pretty ambiguous. I cant quite put my finger on what it really is genre-wise xD
Anyway, lately Ive been in some kind of slump because things havent been going great on my channel lately. Im not sure if anyone has seen the latest Markiplier video talking about his theory on how Google Plus integration may be whats messing with everyones viewcount and such, and it seemed too coincidental that it happened right when my channel started to dip. It gives me hope that things will get better, but who knows. Ill just keep chugging along and hope for the best as always!")

I didnt think Id do Chaos Kings theme but Im gonna be honest, it grew on me a bit after remixing it!
So heres one of the bigger battle themes from the game, I know Ive been doing weird obscure songs from the soundtrack and I apologize for that, but my tastes are really weird lol. Anyway this mix was pretty frustrating because Ive never done symphonic metal before, and let me tell you, trying to figure out how to mix electric guitars was a NIGHTMARE as was making sure a drum kit would fit into all of this chaos. I really really hope it turned out okay because this is my first real attempt at the genre.
I ended up having fun with it a little bit after when things finally fell into place in terms of mixing. I wouldnt say its my best mix, I think that title still belongs to Rude Buster, but I wouldnt say its my worst either! Either way I hope you guys enjoy!
