Two rivals teaming up to face a common obstacle with plans to kill each other in the end? Pretty sure there's either a trope and/or a German words for that. Regardless, this one feels like Roger's solo route on steroids.
But, as a pairing for gameplay, these two share the same weakness against regular enemies so it's a bit harder to reach the end while the bosses are a joke.

Time for my first seed of a new Randomizer from a game that I thought I knew more than I did. So yeah, theres a lot of salt.
But thats more entertainment for you guys.
Be warned, though, this ones long.
It also starts off with those who joined in co-comms also rolling and running their own seeds, but recording ran so long that they moved on to other projects, so theres some unusual overlap. But I dont mind as this would have had a lot of empty commentary otherwise.

Yep. Need some buffer videos to fill some time between Lufia 1 and Atelier Iris 2 so I can procrastinate on- er, better prepare myself before starting recording it a bit more.

The various Marisa titles created by Double Cluster have been fairly memetic in the Touhou fandom since their creation. As I already did a Lets Play of Mega Mari, I figured that it would be interesting to return to the even more difficult Super Marisa World, which is full of Super Mario references in its bosses.
However, I still have PTSD from playing through the game years ago, so I convinced three members of the Bakashop Quartet to do a blind race of the game with some assistance from me.
Will there be a winner? Or will there just be survivors?

One more traversal dungeon before reaching our destination gives us not just more goodies to loot, but more plot exposition as our heroes meet up with the wielder of the Crimson Azoth and we have the expected, unwinnable battle as a result.
Thankfully, cutscene power is in full effect and Chaos is driven away for the time being.
Little does he know how close he was to what he was asking us about. Lets hope it stays that way.

Poor Reika, having to deal with her cruel boss in both her time and in the present, so the girls nothing less than a nervous wreck.
Even though Fumiko has no clue what Reikas going on about, we get the most comprehensive explanation of whats causing the incident more so than anyone else plus some of Reikas hidden depths.
Just dont threaten her with the file and let Fumiko handle the bosses.

Not much to say about the first section of the Demons Core since we have to make our way forward enough to obtain the Obsidian Key and do battle with... who was this guy again? He has almost no prominence on Hugos route.
Oh well, they had to put a boss fight in somewhere and hes a hell of a lot easier than when Yunica had to fight him.

Another one of the Is anyone even going to pick this combination? pairings.
And its not hard to ask why since I would rate these two as the worst characters in the game and Munchausen cant do much to cover for Batus own weaknesses as they share most of them.
The story itself with these two is okay, but has a few nice things to think about.

Our initial exploration of the tower remains unchanged as we manage to swipe the first artifact before Yunica can and it gives us not only a nice gliding ability to make long jumps but also creates a shield that can protect against 1-2 attacks depending on if its charged or not.
This is the one thing that makes Hugo the best character to use for Boss Rush.
But were still at very low level gear and have no means of avoiding the teleport trap. So, after a minor relocation, we find the key we need to get back to where we started.
Wait, whos that behind us?!
