The only word that Fumiko needs in order to bring Gennojo to heel in order to do her dirty work for her. This is what you get for trying to solve an incident with your landlady and the poor guy just can't catch a break.
Gameplay-wise this is a tough pairing as they share the same weakness for dealing with regular enemies, but cover for each other in other ways with Fumiko's bomb and Gennojo's shikigami attack being the more reliable of each.

In one of those awkward episodes thats as long as it is because there werent any good split points without making other ones too short, we tackle the next level of the Old Cave for even more goodies and return to the three towers to finish solving the puzzle.
The good news is we finally make it to Elfrea.
The bad news is... well, look at the thumbnail.
Fortunately, we not only get a solid lead on what we have to do next, but also get one of Jerins best weapons in the game for free!

Turns out were foiled by one of our greatest nemeses in any given RPG: A locked door!
On the plus side, the Imperial Soldiers within the ruins are blocked by the same one without being given a new hint as to where to go next.
However, we cant exactly head to the Altena church just yet, as we have a rescue mission to get underway first!
But before that, we have a plot-mandated rest to take to things can switch back to Viese for a while.

Two things:
First, it turns out that Simsilt isnt too concerned about us returning with a dragon man in tow, because they actually know who he is! On the plus side, that saves time on our part.
Second, looks like our fetch quests arent done as there are more repairs to be done on the ship and finding the only one who can repair it quickly involves climbing a nearby mountain.
So its either that or stay behind and have to eat Noins cooking...

Weve done all we can in Parnaky Cave for now and exploring the rest of the North Grand Plains allows us to find out what happened to Poe- and I love how we only agree to help him in exchange for the recipe he found- and learn that the Imperials in the area are looking for someone with a familiar description.
Since we can do nothing else, we head for the location of the next workshop in the Forest of Ocean Mist. The bad news is the Imperials are searching here too. But the good news is Noin is there looking for us and has the recipe we need in order to complete the Puni Liberation Fronts request!
But first, lets go blow things up!

Time for my first seed of a new Randomizer from a game that I thought I knew more than I did. So yeah, theres a lot of salt.
But thats more entertainment for you guys.
Be warned, though, this ones long.
It also starts off with those who joined in co-comms also rolling and running their own seeds, but recording ran so long that they moved on to other projects, so theres some unusual overlap. But I dont mind as this would have had a lot of empty commentary otherwise.

Lets just say this whole situation is one of the last things Emilio ever expected to have happen to him by the time he finally meets someone his age that he could possibly befriend.
Despite that, life lessons are learned and harsh realities explored as the younger of the two provides some very insightful advice for our young Count.
Not to mention that two of the best characters in the game teaming up make for a hell of a good team in this run since Emilio covers for Naginos few weaknesses flawlessly.

We knew there was going to be a scenario where the two heroes drive themselves to nearly kill each other by the end, but before the end of the first stage?! Youd think even Mihee wouldnt be that unhinged, but she is with Roger, so...
However, the overall route is a nice change of pace as they solve the incident in a unique way and most of it is played for laughs in the end.
As for gameplay, this is a great pairing as Mihee covers for Rogers few weaknesses very well. She shoots down the small fry while he takes care of the bosses.
