The Magliano Alfieri Castle stands in a once strategic position. Its imposing architecture dominates the Tanaro valley, the natural border between Langhe and Roero, making itself visible from the first villages of the lower Langa. Built in the second half of the 17th century, it was the summer residence of the Alfieri di Magliano family, becoming a place of residence for some famous people such as Count Catalano Alfieri and Monica Maillard de Tournon, mother of Vittorio Alfieri.
