In Castellans of Valeria, we'll be competing to create the most amazing districts in Kosk.
In this competition the dice are your secret weapon! You'll need to choose your dice wisely, and use them efficiently to align with your intended actions. It's all about making the most of what you've got and keeping an eye on the expanding influence of your opposition. You'll be aiming to dominate different districts, with a range of buildings that either give you short-term gains or feed into your longer-term plans. Time your moves with the staggered scoring, and the guild tacks to maximise your points by the end of the game.
Note: This is an unpaid preview with a game prototype. All rules and components are subject to change.

Thanks for stopping by for our preview of Castellans of Valeria! We're Amy & Maggie aka ThinkerThemer. We're an Australian couple with two very different perspectives of what makes a great board game - Amy (Thinker) is all about the mechanics and enjoys tight, competitive games, and Maggie (Themer) is all about the storytelling and the theme of the game, and the 'world' that the designer is trying to create. Subscribe to our channel to hear us talk about these two elements of a game, and how well integrated we feel these are in delivering a cohesive and wonderful game experience.

![Ahoy ~ youll either love it or you really, really wont 😬 | Board Game Review
This game is a tale of two adventures - the sharks and molluscs battling over territory in the area control game, and the smugglers trying to race through a pick-up and deliver game changing the game state as they move through and trying to accurately predict who will likely control each region. Its also a game of two emotional states, the glee and devastation of the tight area control, or the more passive breezy smugglers journey. In this video we talk through all of the tidal highs and lows.
