In this DROPS video we show you how to cast on stitches that keep their size and are less elastic. This method has many names, like cable cast on, non elastic cast on, etc.

BEFORE THE VIDEO STARTS:
Pull the strand out from the ball and make a starting loop about 10 cm from the end.
Place the loop on the left needle and tighten gently. Use the right needle to knit up stitches between the 2 outermost stitches.

THE VIDEO SHOWS:
All the stitches being cast on.
