This video documents the Cass Scenic Railroad Photo Specials in 1985 & 1986 with Shay's 2, 4 & 5 on the line from Cass to Bald Knob & Western Maryland Shay 6 & Western Maryland BL-2 7172 on the line from Cass to Durbin. The line from Cass to Durbin was in regular use by Cass up until 1985 when it was destroyed in a flood which resulted in multiple washouts along the line & making it unsafe to operate trains over it. It remained abandoned for many years up until recently when work began to reinstate the line for usage by the Durbin & Greenbrier Scenic Railroad.
