(Update: On Feb. 7, 2025, my Motion to Dismiss was heard. You can read the transcript of the argument I presented to the judge, under my 'Posts' section. The judge said he would make his ruling within 10 days.)
Who knew it was so hard to get into the law library?!? You know I was targeted and they knew I was coming because they were not trying to arrest me for trespass, an old standby. I've got one trespass case that was just up at the US Supreme Court and another that is on its way. If these officers didn't know that, they would have busted me for trespass. That's my guess. It's also my guess that they knew I was coming and this was a total set up, likely because they are trying to figure out laws relating to policy and rules.
The US Supreme Court just rightfully revoked The Chevron Doctrine, because it illegally gave unwarranted and unlawful power to agencies to create policies and rules that ended up governing beyond their authority. This is very important. Agencies may have internal rules for things, but they don't have the right to boss me around if I don't work for them. I'm not on their payroll, they don't dictate my actions. The laws of the land dictate my actions on public property. Well, I was on public property minding my own business, trying to go to the law library. I was just driving through Sarasota, need a piece of law and decided to pop in to the law library to get it. Who knew all this nonsense was going to enter my day?
Things are out of control. We need to fix it.
