"It Can’t Happen Here,” the finale to Billy Rose’s Fort Worth Frontier Centennial Casa Mañana Dinner Theatre, was performed on the 130-foot wide Casa Mana stage. Wearing a ten-foot wide head dress, Mary Dowell, as “Symbol of Peace,” walked up four flights of stairs wearing a white gown created by Raoul Pène du Bois. The gown was made from 500 square yards of fabric, adorned with 200 yards of hand-appliqued sequins. The cape, measuring 75 by 65 feet, was lifted by twenty-four attendants.
