Peter, the legend behind bagjack, invited us in to his Berlin headquarters and we were nothing short of awestruck by nearly every square centimeter of the shop. Who or what is bagjack? One of the most epic carry brands on earth that you probably haven’t heard of. Created in East Berlin in 1997, Peter and his team have been producing top tier technical carry goods for some of the most demanding users on earth. In fact, bagjack has collaborated and produced a wide variety of ACRONYM bags since Peter and Errolson linked up back in 1999. While we’re saving the most exciting news for later, here’s a little behind the scenes peek of our bagjack HQ visit.

![Is This One of the Worlds Great Carry Districts? Neighbourhoods [Ep 1]
When it comes to retail therapy, the neighbourhood is everything. You want one walkable pocket of the city where you can drift from store to store, trying things on in real life (still crucial), soaking up good design, and tapping into the sharp eye of people who live and breathe this stuff.
That’s why we’re trialing a new series: Neighbourhoods. We’ll be spotlighting the world’s best areas for shopping—places where considered retail, local culture, and everyday carry all collide.
First stop: Melbourne’s inner north – Collingwood and Fitzroy. If you’re hunting for the best Melbourne shopping and Melbourne fashion, this is where the city really shows off.
Stroll a few blocks through Collingwood and Fitzroy and you’ll move from vintage shopping in Melbourne backstreets to independent Melbourne fashion boutiques, Japanese-inspired streetwear, and design stores loaded with smart bags and everyday essentials.
From sleek, technical carry built for bike lanes and Melbourne’s unpredictable weather, to upcycled one-offs and reworked classics, this Melbourne fashion district seriously over-delivers when it comes to how people move their gear.
If you’re planning where to shop in Melbourne for streetwear, vintage, or everyday carry, Collingwood and Fitzroy should be at the very top of your list.
Got a neighbourhood you think deserves a deep dive?
Drop it in the comments and we’ll add it to the map.
