So... this song is very special to me. Over the past few years, many people have told me (in person or online) about their struggles with depression and anxiety. I have been incredibly honored to hear that a lot of people find comfort in my music and the messages in my lyrics. Getting that feedback really helped me to solidify my goal of creating music that makes people feel good with inspirational messages of hope, acceptance and positivity, especially when there is no shortage of darkness in the world. After writing Carry On, I decided I wanted to do more to help connect people with support in times of need. I am very proud to say that I am now an official Ambassador for Kids Help Phone in Canada. They offer 24/7 anonymous free support to kids, teens and young adults via text, chat or phone. They work in conjunction with CrisisTextLine.org who provide 24/7 confidential text support in the USA. Eating a balanced diet with lots of veggies? Drinking lots of water? Avoiding sugary/processed foods, smoking, drugs and alcohol?
