A Re-release to mark the death of fraudster prophet Harold Camping.
Camping actually believed what he said, but that can't exonerate him for the misery he caused. Many people sold all their possession and life savings based on his word. And several deaths and serious assaults are attributable to his apocalyptic cult.
I originally uploaded this video just days after his public backpedalling exercise where he failed to take responsibility for these events, but instead perpetuated his prediction for another 6 months. I removed it last year, along with all potentially copyrighted stuff when I had two strikes, but now that he has died I think it's only fitting to put it back up.
Apart from a California woman who slit the throats of her two young daughters in an attempt to kill them, and a Kenyan man who hung himself, there was also a Texas woman who drove to Maine (because the apocalypse was supposed to move West to East) and suffocated her 6 year old sun but failed to kill herself and simply dumped his body beside a road. That story I'll link below, along with the link to a video the woman posted to her YouTube channel of her son riding a trike at Christmas 2009. It's almost impossible to understand, watching that video, that this woman will kill that child in a year and a half's time because of the nonsense Harold Camping was saying.
