EagleEye621 | Carpet Duper (10k+ Per Hour) (Minecraft Java) @EagleEye621 | Uploaded October 2020 | Updated October 2024, 14 minutes ago.
Another Mostly Useless Dupe. Not as useless as the tripwire hook dupe, but a close runner up. This tiny machine can generate over 10k carpets for hour, which in turn means it can fuel the cooking of over 3,333 items per hour, all without requiring many resources... so why is it mostly useless? Around half of the carpet generated ends up on top of the machine with no easy automatable way to get it off. That means you have to stand there to manually collect it or deal with the lag of all those items floating in your world. Add to that the easily collectable slime-arm versions that generate 30k+ per slime-arm that is 100% collectable into simple water streams under it. Why is it not completely unless (only mostly)? Building it requires only one slime ball for a sticky piston and no coral fans, so it is more resource friendly (if you ignore the two honey blocks), so it could... could, be useful in some situations where honey is easy to come by but slime is not.
