On March 23, 2019 Carowinds opened it's gates to the public to begin another season. This season the park had something new, something big, for their guests. Copperhead Strike is the Carolina's first double launch coaster created by Mack. This ride is very innovative and features two circular loops and two launches. The ride itself was phenomenal and I would strongly recommend it to anyone who heads that way.
Opening day seemed to be going very smoothly for the park minus the basic learning curves and such that are as expected. Hurler never opened and Kiddy Hawk was only open for a few hours. Food service and merchandise were fantastic the whole day. Overall I would say Carowinds did a great job, especially considering they were opening a new coaster.

After a lot of last minute changes I set off on an adventure with a great group of people, meeting up with around thirty others at Carowinds. It was a great experience and I want to give them a shout out for a great trip!
