I thought I'd upload a little Christmas music early this year.

About the project/game:
This was for a small miniature game that I did the music for with a small team. We did a challenge where we would make a small, fully functioning game withing 24 hours. For the most part it all turned out nicely but the programmers were not committed enough to finishing it.
The game was basically a redone version of Asteroids, the classic arcade game, except they wanted it to be a viking, almost steam punk, version.
About the song:
They wanted the menu theme to sound very spacey, dark, moody, almost as if it were the dark creepy depths of space itself. I decided to make it simple and base it slightly off of what id imagine metroid music would sound like, although i havent really played much metroid games.
Remember that all four of these songs were done within 24 hours, so keep that in mind.")
