This one is a bit different than what you usually see on this channel - first things first, it's a PMV! It was initially supposed to be one minute and a half, but life works in mysterious ways and never gives me a break so here you are with these 23 seconds.

Plot summary:
Toadstep and Cherrystem's relationship is a very complex one, filled with misunderstandings and constant negative gaze of the AshClan.

In my AU, medicine cats are looked down upon as being weaker than warriors. They are treated only marginally better than the elders. Because of the prejudice against the medicine cats and distrust towards them, as they are believed to be the Harbringers of bad luck, Toadstep has been doomed from the start. Since being born with an injured front paw, he has been unable to become a warrior, and consequently faced the danger of being chased away by the leader.

Newleaf, the Clan's medicine cat, decides to save Toadkit from getting thrown out by making him his mentee. Newleaf soon dies and Toadstep takes over the mantle of looking over the Starclanless clan of brutal cats. Along with the newly claimed responsibilities, he must navigate his secret relationship with Cherrystem, the only warrior besides Newleaf who was ever truly kind to him.

The time of the prophecies and wickedness is a-coming. The cries and warnings of Toadstep remain unheard. Starvation, violent weather conditions and the appearance of the Two-legs begin to haunt the cats of the AshClan.

With the prophesized downfall of Raggedstar and AshClan by paw of a bi-coloured Eye of Justice, Raggedstar covers up the prophecy, thus further leading the clan into the state of ruin.

Cherrystem, pregnant with Toadstep's kit, forces herself to become mate of the deputy Owlpelt in order to protect Longkit from the cruel fate that befalls each medicine cat and their loved ones in the AshClan.

Just what punishment will the future bring to those opposing Starclan...
