After much consideration, I decided to remaster the Origins versions.
The recordings themselves weren't poorly done so I was able to make them sound brighter with just EQ and mastering (hence Remastered).
The actual musical content, however (the earlier version* of the proto tracks) in Origins does sound rough, even after processing. I still think having better versions of those available shouldn't hurt anybody, so here they are.
* The best theory we have to explain these arrangements is that these are simple recordings of an earlier proto, probably from October. The same one used as a reference by the Japanese team who made Sonic and Knuckles collection. Jun Senoue likely only made the Super Theme.
