A note from Carlos:
Soon after my Independent Bandcamp release
of Actual Presence in July 2020, I received a
direct message from Mike Stewart via Instagram
asking me if he could use the song "WaterWavesArrival"
(that I made with Jesse Peterson) for a new Video
that he was making. I quickly looked Mike up and
was blown away by his energy, adventures and
Mastery. How did he hear this Bandcamp Exclusive
release and decide to reach out about this deep cut,
I thought. Wow! I was deeply honored to be in touch
with such a legendary Waterman. I wrote back
agreeing to the usage of the piece and asked if
I could also use the Video at some point . . .
