Some Things Never Change is an album recorded by Carl Perkins in 1990, which sat in a drawer for thirty-five years. Produced by Bill Lloyd, his sons Stan and Greg on bass and drums, Joe Schenk on piano, Peter Finney on steel, and Jerry Douglas on dobro, Carl recorded a series of originals and two covers in Nashville, but the session was never used. Today, it finally takes on a beautiful, remastered form.
