Happy Earth Day & Happy Birthday to Disney's Animal Kingdom!

For Earth Day this year we wanted to choose a special way to share about conservation and how to help animals, so we felt this video would be perfect!

Elephants have been a favorite of mine for many, many years and it would be an absolute dream to work with them one day. For now, I admire them from afar and share with everyone who will listen about my favorite ellies. At this point, I can accurately identify most of the elephants from the safari vehicle.

Disney has done some great work and research with the elephants including trying to find ways to understand elephant communication and helping to remove conflict between elephants and local people. Their monetary contributions are equally as important, as is their education message to their guests about conservation and starting passions within many of their visitors.
