Maisy Scarlett (played by Carina Round) is on a surreal journey in which every day a part of her dies. After every little death she must choose to either continue her aimless scramble through life, or to emerge blood-soaked from the abyss to exorcise the persistent demons ever-stealing pieces of her soul . Finally she surrenders herself to these, the "soultakers" that she might be reborn. Shedding her old skin she walks boldly into a whole new kind of day.
Entirely set to music, the film (which was directed by the award winning British film-maker Jesse Davey) features 12 out of the 13 tracks from Carina Round's upcoming album Slow Motion Addict (which is set for release on Interscope Records Spring 2007). Length 37 minutes
