Carbuncle is an eidolon for Eiko, learned from a Ruby. After being mastered, if Eiko equips a Diamond, Carbuncle's summon ability becomes "Diamond Light", which bestows Vanish onto the party. With the long summon animation, it also gives Protect. A Diamond is found on the kirkboat in Conde Petie.
