All gas heaters can spill carbon monoxide (CO) – a gas you can’t see or smell that can kill or make you seriously unwell.

Be sure your gas heater is safe:

1. have it serviced at least once every two years, by a qualified gasfitter
2. if you've renovated your home, check that you haven't affected the ventilation.
