In this video, I demonstrate the Carbine 3582 Stainless Install Jig (Majig) and show exactly how it relates to the lock it is designed for. I'll explain how to position the jig, align it with the latch centre, and accurately mark every hole needed to install the lock and furniture.
Instead of measuring every position by hand or taping a paper template to the door, this reusable stainless steel jig allows you to quickly mark the cylinder, spindle, handle fixing holes, and lock body mounting holes with confidence. Once you've marked one side of the door, simply flip the jig over to mark the opposite side.
