In our new Caramoor Conversations series, pianist Lara Downes (whose Caramoor concert is on June 30th) interviews musicians who are performing at Caramoor this summer. The series kicks off with clarinetist Anthony McGill, as he talks about the excitement he has in bringing Samuel Coleridge-Taylor's Quintet in F-sharp Minor for Clarinet and Strings, Op. 10 to Caramoor on June 24th for Chamber Feast. We learn about the limited clarinet canon, and how Coleridge-Taylor's Quintet is inspired by Brahms.
