Do signal blockers or Faraday boxes for car keys actually work? Despite what the internet tells me, I wanted to test one for myself so I bought a cheap Faraday Box and tested it with some higher power devices than a car key.

For those of you wondering why I don't just test this with my car, it doesn't have keyless entry so it's hard to do a true thief test. Instead I'm trying out some wireless mics that transmit up to ten times the power of a key.
Considering how perfectly the box has to be closed in order for the Faraday cage to work as it should, I have no idea how the the pouches / bags achieve this with any success at all. Maybe I'll try one of those next.
