This driver failed to look before leaping into traffic and paid the price. Don't pull into traffic if you can't see what's coming.
This happened on Main Street in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. No one was injured. In case the Mitsubishi driver needed a witness, I provided my contact information.
I decided to blur the Toyota driver's face because, while he should have looked and should have done any number of things to avoid the crash, it was ultimately an accident. Given that this clip will undoubtedly be stolen and put in countless "crash compilations" on other channels, I don't want a face attached to what others might say about him.
My friend was saying just a few minutes earlier how it bothers him that there's a stereotype about younger people being more dangerous drivers than older people, when it always seems to be older people hitting younger people. When the drivers got out of their cars, the one at fault was clearly over 60 and the victim was under 30.
