Combine that intelligence with being able to climb just about anything, and you get an animal that can be very difficult to rein in.

Here are a few facts I tried to share in the video, but I was a little too busy trying to keep up with Leo.

Capuchins are considered among the smartest New World monkeys, meaning monkeys native to Central and South America.

Their prehensile tails help them grip branches, balance, and support themselves as you can see in this video.

They are also known to use tools they find in their environment, including rocks and sticks. Leo was carrying a stick for much of our time together.

Leo was not actually uncatchable. He could have been if he wanted to be, but he was just playing. And it was so much fun!
