A compilation of the various deaths from monsters in Captured 2 along with its ending. Play as another kid stuck in a loop due to some very sketchy drugs that probably needed more testing to avoid the side effects of imprisonment in a nightmare realm.
I'm not sure if dead zones exist in this game like Captured - with 100 anomalies (and often seeing the same ones repeat) I simply didn't have the time to hunt them all down. If there is a fatal anomaly do let me know! Should Captured 2 get an update to add more entities like Captured did I'll try to update this.
Nonetheless, I got into this game after playing the demo to this and then trying out the first game. If you played Captured you know what the expect gameplay wise with scanning for anomalies and assigning what type. Anomalies themselves are usually pretty obvious but several object ones remove or change things in a very sneaky manner. On top of that the sanity mechanic forces you to not spend too long in a loop.
There's multiple difficulties with hard (or nightmare on Day 3) draining sanity faster, increasing battery cost, and spawning hostile entities more often. Fortunately only one hostile critter can spawn per loop so if it's one you can dealt with you can explore more freely (unless you're unlucky to get Carroteras who can eventually break doors to resume chasing you). I do feel Walk-E has a bit of the short end of the stick as they're effectively a weaker Carroteras - they move based on sound so sneaking is completely effective and they don't break down doors. Ring-a-Ding does a great job of spawning at different points (usually when about to turn a corner) to surprise you. Jestie is surprisingly not too bad once you understand you get a very generous time frame to break line of sight and even if clones get spawned there should be another path to go for hiding.
Even after finishing there's an insanity mode that lowers max sanity each loop until you lose but adds in deals that offer perks with tradeoffs.
Overall, very solid game if you like anomaly hunt games.
0:00 Ring-a-Ding
0:22 Walk-E
0:47 Carroteras
1:16 Jestie
1:44 Demon (Not an actual death)
2:04 Sanity
2:25 Ending
