My entry for the 'Past/Present/Future' challenge for the IoTs contest.

Storyline:

Eliza is going about her daily routine when all of a sudden she notices an old little jewellery box shaped in the form of a treasure chest . The sight of it after all these years brings back some old memories.....
*FLASHBACK*
Eliza Bennet is a headstrong young girl who believes that she will only marry for love and dreams of the day she will meet her soulmate. Her family circumstances however are not good and her parents hope that she will make an advantageous marriage.
She is soon courted by a rich young land owner Mr Dawson much to the delight of her family. He soon proposes to her - Eliza is hesitant at first but soon accepts due to pressure from her parents. This leaves her very disappointed and unhappy.
One day at a social event - she notices this very interesting young sailor named William and they fall passionately in love .
They carry on a secret affair but Eliza feels she can`t keep hiding things from her husband and decides to run away with William.
But despite being deeply in love , Eliza and William cannot be together . William knows that he cannot look after her well and that she will never be happy as a sailor`s wife. Eliza is heartbroken and forced to return home....
A devastated Mr Dawson is relieved to see his dear Elizas return . He finds it hard to forgive her but realizes that his love is stronger ......
