I had originally planned to do a cool action picture to celebrate Captain Marvel, but I got kinda jazzed by this idea and side-tracked to focus in on something more close-up and personal. Hopfully I'll get back to an action scene shortly!
I wanted to evoke a few things here; A wonderment and excitment for the future, shown by gazeing off into space, Carol's power through the intense glow and lighting, and a softer human quirkiness, shown through the composition with lil Goose on her shoulder (i think I spent most of my time on the cat ohno)
It's certainly not perfect, the lighting was probably a bit beyond my ability and for some reason I chose to draw her in profile which is always tricky with faces, but I don'th think it turned out TOO bad. I take trying things your not the best at as good practice!
