Cycling the world - Asia: 13 episode
After finishing the Sufi Trail in Konya, I turn my wheels toward Iraq with a ten-day deadline before my Turkish visa expires. No time to waste. I camp in a mosque on the first night, detour to Lake Tuz only to be greeted by wind strong enough to bend my tent, and grind through endless climbs before reaching Cappadocia in the dark. I sleep in the same garden where I camped back in 2019. At sunrise, the sky fills with hot air balloons again: pure magic, postcard perfect. From there, it’s back to the road as I push east toward the Iraqi border.
