Confirmation bias is really strong with anything politics related. This person pointed out that Sweet Baby Inc was involved in the creation of South of Midnight, a game made by Compulsion Games that are about to be sacked by Xbox. I talked about Sweet Baby two years ago and my stance is very simple with these consulting firms: I don't care. I really don't care who you consult to make your games. I just want the final product to be good.
In the case of South of Midnight, I saw Yahtzee's review of the game, and according to him, the story, the writing, the aesthetics, and the boss fights in tune with the music are pretty good. It's just that the gameplay was bland and uninspiring, but he still ends up recommending the game anyway. I went to Steam, and the game has very positive reviews across the board, and these are coming from the users. Metacritic's review is mixed, but it's still leaning on positive than a full on negative.
Yes, the studios are in the chopping block, but to attribute all that to the fact that the company consulted Sweet Baby is nothing but confirmation bias. I don't agree with Sweet Baby politically either, but there is clearly a bigger picture of the corporate greed that is Microsoft and Xbox. They don't hire Sweet Baby to improve the game. They hire Sweet Baby because it looks good for investors. It all leads back to good old corporate greed, and a lot of people clearly miss it.

Oh, wow. Another reductionist argument that helps absolutely no one. No, this isn't the fault of capitalism, commie. And no, the people that complain about Sweet Baby or diversity or South by Midnight or any of these games are not racists. They just do not like progressive politics, but this is not about progressive politics or capitalism. This is corporate greed. Plain and simple.
Blaming it on capitalism implies socialists and communists cannot be greedy, and that is just a blatant denial of historic reality. Someone clearly hasn't read Animal Farm. Don't watch that new movie. It's garbage. Microsoft is a terrible company. That should be a point that resonates with anyone regardless of politics, but no. Let's bring in anti-capitalism and anti-progressivism and distract people from the actual root issue at hand.
