Discover Bunraku (one of Japan's traditional theatre arts) through the world of Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess. The combination of traditional techniques and new technology has produced a unique prequel to the game - "Ceremony of the Deity: The Maiden's Destiny", brought to you by Capcom in collaboration with the National Bunraku Theatre.
National Bunraku Theatre celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, offering a wide variety of traditional Japanese performing arts including Bunraku. Established in Osaka back in 1984, the National Bunraku Theatre is the centre for the preservation and development of Ningyo Joruri, the art of narration combined with shamisen music and puppetry. This is now widely referred to as Bunraku.
